If you are paying using a bank transfer, you will need to make the payment within a few days upon receiving your invoice.

If you are paying using PayPal, you will need to make the payment yourself (manually) via the YOUR - SERVICES Accounts administration interface within a few days upon receiving the invoice.

How much VAT do I need to pay?
Our net prices are the same for all customers. The rate of Value Added Tax (VAT) that we charge is based on your country of residence.

Why does CLOUD HIVE DC LTD charge a one-time setup fee for some products? Why do I have to pay the set up fee, when I set up the server by myself?

Our prices are based on the actual cost of the server and the support. We try not to cross subsidize our products or services.

If we consider the typical lifecycle of a server, the highest costs arise from the moment when new hardware is purchased. Also, the depreciation of a server is by far the largest during its first month of operation. Therefore, we charge a setup fee for most of our servers (older servers tend not to have a setup fee). There are a number of competitors who offer servers without a setup fee, and some even offer heavily-reduced monthly prices for the first few months. This pricing strategy is completely opposite to the actual costs involved in running a data center, and must be made up in some other way. We feel that the best price/performance ratio lies in keeping our price structure as close to our internal costs as possible.

Many clients ask us about discounts on the setup fee. Each reduction in the setup fee of a server means we need to set the base (monthly/hourly) price of the server high enough so that we do not lose any money on discounted servers. The moment we were to offer discounts would also automatically mean that we would need to ask for higher monthly/hourly prices.

These are strategic decisions which make the business process fast and uncomplicated and ultimately also very efficient. We do not need to spend any time haggling or trying to convince clients of our special deals. Clients do not need to wonder if they are getting the best deal; every deal is the best deal. Keeping our monthly prices low also means that the longer a customer uses a server, the more they save.

All our invoices are due immediately. For the first invoice you have 5 days and for the following invoices you have 10 days to pay before you get the first reminder.

Invoice Overdue Notice.
If CLOUD HIVE DC LTD has exhausted all of the above options and the customer has ignored your last reminder to pay, consider taking us to court.

All our invoices are due immediately. For the first invoice you have 5 days.

CLOUD HIVE DC LTD sends out 3 alerts. After the third warning, all services are stopped and a fine of 10% of the total invoice amount is imposed.

Conclusion.
The information on this page gives customers a glimpse into our pricing structure and shows how we can offer such a great price/performance ratio.

Clients can decide if our concept fits their needs. We know that we are not able to handle 100% of clients' requirements; in fact, we do not even try to do that. We try to handle around 95% of potential clients (the mainstream) and do that in an efficient and reliable way. If you are uncertain about us, simply give us a try. You can cancel your server at any time and with hour-based billing. So if you don't like us, it is easy to move on.
